Huia Masters Webbed Relay

The Huia Webbed Relay is a handicap event. It is open to any Masters swimming team. Participants must take part in a team of four, with teams being made up of either sex. Participants swim for 15 minutes, and record the distance swum. Handicaps are applied based on world masters records, and are designed to eliminate the impact of age and sex on the resulting times. Thus the emphasis is on fitness and technique.

Taking part is simple. Just complete an entry form and mail us your times and entry fee. We will collate them, and place the results on our web page. Swimmers will be handicapped according to age and gender (The handicap table is available here).  Clubs must submit their results by post, on a copy of the official entry form. Please make sure you complete the form correctly. Note that provided distances must be in metres. Times MUST be swum between 1st April and 30th June. Entries must be postmarked no latter than 12 July.

Various prizes are awarded. All entries will receive a certificate.

2005 Webbed Relay

Due to the poor participation in the 2004 event, it is currently undecided whether we will run the event in 2005.
